Huawei P10

Huawei P10 - The next big smartphone from it

The Chinese manufacturer company, Huawei recently reported that it has been sold a total of 9,000,000 devices of the Huawei P9 globally. The Huawei P9 smartphone came with a dual rear camera setup by Leica, and it was launched in the month of April this year in China, later it was launched in other markets as well. After the success of Huawei P9 smartphone, the company will be concentrating on its successor is called as Huawei P10.

Expected Specifications
  • Leak suggests 5.5-inch Quad HD display  2560 x 1440 resolution would result in a pixel density of 534ppi
  • Powered by Hi-Silicon Kirin 960 processor clocked at 2.3GHz , along with 6GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage and Mali G71 GPU
  • Expected to have 12-megapixel RGB sensor could be coupled with a 20-megapixel monochrome sensor on the rear along with optical image stabilization too and 8MP selfie shooter.
  • Sensors on the smartphone include Accelerometer, Barometer, Compass, Gyroscope, Pedometer and Proximity sensor. The other connectivity options are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC and GPS navigation support.
  • Under the hood, it will be running on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box.
This is similar to the design that we’ve seen with the Huawei P9 as the company seems to be sticking with Leica for its camera sensors. However, what’s important to notice here is the dual-edge display and the new jet black like color.

The Huawei P10 rumors are still in the early stages for now, but we expect them in Q2 of 2017. Most succeeding devices make improvements on their predecessors in various departments, so while we don't yet know specifics, we are expecting a faster processor, more RAM, camera enhancements and battery improvements for the P10.Watch this space as we will continue to update this feature as we come across more leaks or rumors.
