Lenovo Zuk Edge - Spot in TEENA certification

         

Lenovo has so far launched three smartphones under its Zuk brand and if a new rumor is to be believed, then the fourth handset in the series is on its way. Lenovo's alleged Zuk Edge has been spotted in live images.  The picture reveals the Edge in black color variant. Both front and back of the device can be seen in the picture along with its packaging box.

The Chinese company has so far launched the Zuk Z1 (launched in August last year), Zuk Z2 Pro (launched in April this year), and Zuk Z2 (launched in May this year).

Additionally, Lenovo's Zuk Edge has reportedly passed TENAA, the Chinese telecommunications certification authority. The listing reveals some specifications and images of the alleged device codenamed Zuk Z2151.

According to the TENAA listing, Zuk Edge features 

• 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display. 
• Powered by the latest quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.35GHz 
• Coupled with 4GB of RAM,  32GB and 64GB onboard storage models.
• Lenovo Zuk Edge will run Android Marshmallow and feature a 13MP rear camera (capable of 4K video recording) along with an 8MP front shooter. It is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery, weighs 160 grams and will come in Black and White color variants. The phone supports 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi and GPS.

The listing claims that the Zuk Edge will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with ZUI 2.0, and will pack 3000mAh battery. It is said to come sporting dimensions 142.9x74.5x7.68mm and weigh 160 grams. Some of the other details tipped by TEENA listing include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, and fingerprint scanner.

A separate report on MyDrivers claims there will be a 6GB RAM version as well. The last Zuk phone that Lenovo launched was the Zuk Z2 in June. Priced at 1,799 Yuan (approx Rs 18,400), Zuk Z2 features a 5-inch FHD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. The phone sports a 13MP primary camera and an 8MP selfie shooter.

The leak suggests that the ZUK Edge will carry a price tag of RMB 2,699, roughly Rs 26,550. The ZUK Edge is expected to be launched in China this month.
